Thanks to all who have been calling on behalf of HB159, the autism insurance bill!!
It was nice to hear during our visit today from Rep. Wayne that he received an incredible number of emails from folks all over the state about HB159, and he was going to sign on today as a co-sponsor. He will make the 27th sponsor of the bill - this number keeps rising with calls to your representative to support/sponsor HB159.
Our immediate action needed now, however, is
one call & two critical messages.
Call the Legislative Message Line at 1-800-372-7181 and leave a message for both Speaker Stumbo and Speaker Pro Tem Larry Clark asking them to call HB159 in the House Appropriations & Revenue committee for a vote next Tuesday, March 2nd.
Although Representative Rick Rand is Chair of the House Appropriations and Revenue committee, we believe that making calls to both the Speaker and Rep. Larry Clark will have more impact in getting HB159 placed on the A&R committee agenda next Tuesday.
Also, please log onto www.autismvotes.org for more updates and to sign up for additional Action Alerts by Autism Votes.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask by sending us an email or calling us at 502-641-3646.
Thank you!
